I brought in my laptop after I accidentally made things worse while trying to replace the thermal paste myself. Allex was very helpful, opened the laptop in front of me, explained what could have gone wrong, and kept me updated with calls and photos throughout the process. A hidden gem for tech repair in KC. I recently took my MacBook in to Quick Tech for a nasty coffee spill that left a bunch of my keys inoperable. Allex, the owner, was magnificent — I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was completely transparent in diagnosing the fix and explaining how much it would cost, and kept me in the loop throughout the repair process, sharing photos of the internals and explaining what he was doing. He also charged far less than what Apple would have for an equivalent fix. Upon picking the laptop up, he gave me as long as I needed to inspect the laptop and ensure everything was working properly (which it did, he did a fantastic job).
